Admissions Process

1. TOUR

Visiting Casa is the first step in the Admissions process. We invite you to join us at a Parent Tour to learn about the history and unique culture of Casa Montessori, details about the programs we offer, a little bit about Maria Montessori and her educational pedagogy and how the Montessori materials support and facilitate the development of the “whole child”.

2. APPLY

Applications are provided at the Parent Tour. Upon receipt of your completed application and the accompanying $100.00 application fee (non-refundable), your child will be placed on the wait-list for the school year(s) that they will be eligible for enrollment.

3. OBSERVE

We require prospective parents to schedule an observation in one of our classrooms prior to enrolling. Observing a Montessori classroom in action is truly the best way for you to have a clear understanding of how the Montessori approach works and will ensure that it is compatible with your family’s values and what you desire for your child. Please call the office to schedule your pre-enrollment observation.

4. REGISTER

New student enrollment for the upcoming school year begins in February, following the re-enrollment of our returning Casa children. At that time, we know the number of openings we have available for new students and invitations to enroll are emailed to the families whose children are eligible. In the event that the number of applicants exceeds the number of available openings, families remain on the list and will receive an offer of enrollment as spots become available. Please note that not every family that is offered a spot during the initial enrollment offer will accept it and we will continue to contact families on the list until our classrooms are fully enrolled.

TUITION ASSISTANCE

Casa Montessori provides tuition assistance to make high quality Montessori education accessible for more families. Please contact the Head of School for more information on our Tuition Assistance Program and how to apply.
